john, the existing rims have no means to 'hook' a bead for a clincher/tubeless tyre, and will only accept either glued traditional tubulars, or as Oz has stated, tufo tubulars secured with adhesive tape.

there are 2 types of rims, clincher and tubular.
tubeless tyres are just clinchers with no inner tube. You can't use them on tubular rims. -

timhah summed it up. I've a Mavic cxp33 clincher (silver) for sale if you're interested.
Hey recently bought a lo-pro. It's great but it came with tubs on both wheels rear is Mavic Gel 280 and front is cx18. I'm thinking eventually I'm going to get a flat and tubs are going to be a right pain.
So was wondering if I should just fork out for a new clincher front wheel (have suitable rear ones already) or if there was anyway to turn the existing wheel tubeless?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated! Ready to recieve quite a bit of stick if this is an outrageous question!
