  • Hi, Are the tektro levers compatible with v brakes?

and also dibs any short 1/18th os stems you might have? 80mm or so?

  • I'm pretty positive that they will. These are the Tektro R200 model, which I'm pretty sure were the ones that come with the Tricross single speed.

Sorry, haven't got any short stems.

  • After having a quick look on the internet it seems they work with mini-v's, but will be a bit grabby with normal v's.

generally no, the brakes would feel spongy and not at all sharp as standard drop bar levers are designed for shorter pull normal dual pivot or sidepull brakes, back in the 90's you used to be able to buy a small inline adaptor (travel agent) that converted their use to be ok with linear brakes so may be worth checking your LBS to have a rummage.....if not these will be the answer << http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003UWJO0W/?tag=stackoverfl08-20 >>

  • Dibs levers

  • Levers still available. I won't post them for £7.

  • dibs long reach

  • I will take the brake levers,

Need to do just a bit more research on, if they will work with mini vs or not, seems like there are lots of opinions on it.
