It's viable now, just had confirmation from the machinist of the price of cutting the current number.
Work sequence will be as follows:
Monday: order materials. This will place a hard upper limit on the total quantity, but it will be quite a bit higher than the current list
By next Friday: take payments. As this is all custom work, you'll need to pay up front
3: Next Friday-ish: take the material to the machinist and confirm the final quantity to cut, that will be just the number of items paid for plus a few extra to allow for spares and in case of cock-ups at the engraver
4: Up to two weeks after that: get the blanks from the machinist and take them to the engraver
5: About a week later: pick up from engraver and take to anodiser
6: About 3 days after that: pick up from anodiser and start packing and shipping.
If all goes according to plan:
A: You need to have paid by Nov.15th to guarantee that you'll get one
B: They should ship around Dec. 13th, so you should have them well in time for Christmas
