What's going on in the Poloverse

^^^^ Might depend a bit on what's used as the donor sole for conversions. My DZRs are lovely for all-day off-bike wearability, but I'd take their claims of having a stiff sole with a massive pinch of salt.

Mavic Alpine 2014 are out with a new colour scheme (as well as the usual all black which I prefer)

Best polo shoes I've ever had.

After destroying 2 pairs of Chromes, and a pair of DZRs, these have held up for 6 months without even a scratch. Good protection, but light, and a good solid sole.

Hannes has them too, and I've seen a few more of them around recently.

John - what's the sizing like on those compared to the Chromes?

With the Chromes, I think I ended up with a US 12 (UK 11)

But all my Mavics are 11.5/47 which is my normal shoe size.
