If it's just for a commuter, do you know Shimano 7 speed has the exact same pitch (5mm) as Campagnolo 8 speed? So you can use a Shimano 7 speed wheel, or a 7 speed cassette (and spacer) on a Shimano 8/9/10 speed wheel.
