Why does it have to be a religion? Some bloke gets jail time for joking about blowing up an airport and people are being tracked down for internet bullying. There must be laws applicable in this case?
We had libel training at work the other day, and the person did mention that increasingly, groups are able to sue for libel, the quote below is from yourrights.org.
Similarly, a member of a group or class of people can sue in relation to a defamatory allegation referring to the group as a whole, if the group is sufficiently small that the allegation would be understood to refer to him or her personally.
Unfortunately, "cyclists" might be too vague a group to sue for defamation, but it would be nice...
