Y'know, you'd think we'd all be a bit, well desensitised to it by now - a sadly too familar tale of blue paint, cyclist and HGV.
But then when they name the victim, put his picture in the paper and you learn the smallest details about the life behind the name, my tiny heart breaks everytime.
That guy went to work one morning and didn't get home because he chose to cycle to work, apparently because he was trying to get fit. It's too sad.
If people were dying at this rate because they chose to get the tube or a bus to work it would be a national scandal. It saddens me how much little value is given to a life of someone who cycles : (
