Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

Are the classic cap / condor JLT caps actually waterproof? It says they are on the website but dunno if that's just a load of marketing nonsense.

Looking out of the window now is making me think it would be a good idea to get something that will keep my bonce as dry as poss.

The classic cap claims to be water resistant but yeah it's great in the rain. I've just noticed they say it's breathable too. Well it's not 'breathable' like a coolmax or even regular cotton cap.
