The price makes me suspect foreign manufacture. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. Many top end frames seem to be made in China these days.

It's stated on their website that it's made in Taiwan:
*"Our frames are made in Taiwan. They are handmade using traditional brazing techniques with the highest quality materials by a team of frame builders who have over 2 decades of experience. Each frame undergoes extensive quality and safety checks before it is shipped to us in the UK.Although built overseas our frames were carefully designed by us in London and are exclusive to Brother Cycles.
By doing the above we are able to offer an affordable product without sacrificing quality or style – which is exactly what we set out to do."
*Seems fair enough to me. You're paying about half what eg Dave Yates would charge for a basic frame with track dropouts.

and lugs too, not many frame at that price range tend to have lugs, just TIG welded and the like.
I have a suspection that they're using the same factory as Alien use for their 'track' frame.
still, £300 isn't bad for a lugged frame, but then, there's this Surly Steamroller that have great reputation.

I've changed the LIST (on page 2) to have a specific section for steel frames.
I love them, even though I don't ride them. Some are just gorgeous.
A new On-One also.

Also, they have a model called The Tweed. teddy has so much to answer for. ;)
Nice polo pictures too, on the homepage.....for those into that sort of thing.

I've been lusting after the one in Brixton Cycles for a while now, but I know I'd be a nervous wreck everytime I parked it up somewhere - seems too nice for a daily hack bike...

Agreed. Shame they don´t do a matt black option. But I can understand why they don´t!

Track as in track-specific? does look it.

Yes. Front fork is drilled for brake to make it road legal. Rims are both machined, but there is no rear brake drilling.

Uber steep front end. Twitchy as feck!!! Overlap looks a little retarded too for road use.
