I'm getting fucked off with the tyranny of Quorn. 6 months ago, all the big supermarkets had a selection of soya mince, pieces, sausages, burgers, a lot of which were vegan friendly, particularly own-brand. Now there's been a change, and suddenly egg-based bastard Quorn is the only show in town.
I know it's overprocessed and we should just be living off raw veg, but still yearning for some soya mince bolognese or just a simple veggieburger. Any suggestions?
Linda McCartney's mince is the nicest I have ever had. I find that the dry varieties just go horribly soggy when water is added.
You can get it from Planet Organic, not sure where else, probably H&B.
