Moorgate is an atrocious road particularly in the wet.. It is pitted and holed and there are dozens of metal (slippery when wet) manhole covers. It is always best to give other riders a lot of space and to take the lane from motorists for fear of having to swerve suddenly. I swear that there are new obstacles every day, particularly southbound.
That said, it is decent of The City of London Corporation to provide somewhere for cyclists to train for the Paris-Roubaix.
