  • To me, it seems that here are three possible scenarios:
    1) Bec bought the frame "in addition to something else from an eBay seller and paid £300 for it", then offered it here for a mark-up of at least 33%;
    2) Bec bought the frame from the Gumtree ad and offered it here for a mark-up of 100%;
    3) Bec tried to sell the frame on Gumtree for £200, then offered it here for £400.

    1. Based on forum etiquette it is bad form but bad trader? There are many on here who buy from jumbles and then sell here for a profit. It takes time and money to get to jumble, clean them and repair them if needed. Bec didn't go to a jumble but just got it off the internet but hey I don't think there is any rules against grabbing a bargain on the bay and then try to flip it on for a profit. It's not like she got something on here for a bargain and then flipped it for a profit elsewhere.
    2. Re: 1.
    3. This is breaking the rules of the forum but to call someone a bad trader for breaking the 'exclusive to this forum' rule, this thread would be littered with such cases. There is also a mod request thread where the 'exclusive to the forum' rule breaker can be more appropriately dealt with >>>>>>>>>> http://www.lfgss.com/thread48164-259.html
