Disappointing result, but we carried little threat in the final third.
AVB needs to see what we have in Eriksen, holtby is industrious but hasn't shown enough for me creatively to be given the nod.
Not sure our policy of inside out wingers is working as Townsend is shoot on sight and that threaded reverse pass is something he needs to work on.
No one gets past Soldado or attempts to provide another body in the box so often we're sending in a pass/cross for Soldado to challenge for, which the defenders have covered.
Lloris is a boss.
As mentioned previously vertonghen was our best player, skillful, powerful, athletic. For my money we need to get him and Kaboul in the center of defence, vertonghen to make random forays forward and Kaboul to play the rock of defence role.
Still fourth in the league without playing anywhere near our best football is nothing to be sniffed at, and you can see glimmers of where we're trying to get too.
Everton looked toothless.
