  • yup bringing the washing in from the line made my hands slightly tepid

flanagan was quite anonymous and ally didn't really do it down the left
2/4ths of our attacking midfield options underperforming

  • anyone would think it was us who got tonked in the cup only 4 days ago and feeling lethargic because of it

  • Arsenal seem to have their confidence back for real. Hope this is an exciting season at the top for once (discounts the year city won, far too many twists and turns for that to be exciting just turned out to be two poor teams making mistakes game after game when the heat was on)
Hughton has done a good job at Norwich . Plenty of time for that situation to change. What do Norwich fans have as highest expectations ? 14th ?

  • I think we missed Flamini, there was a bit of disorganisation in the second bank of four when defending, leaving gaps for them to play into. Giroud should really be having more shots, I only counted two proper efforts. And Ozil was a bit anonymous. Still, a decent result against fairly good opposition.

  • I suspect you will come undone if you keep things as open as you did when 2 - 0 up.

  • Sorry to interject in the intelligent debate but after years of piss taking from liverpool fans bleating on about how much noise they make and how they support their team through thick and thin I really relished sitting in the North Bank and hearing that shower of fairies not even fucking once. Takes a special kind of plastic to get out sung at the emirates.

  • what, like at Newcastle ? In his first managerial role where he got us promoted ?

  • Flanagan looks like a right potato faced scroat. Local lad then.

  • I feel bad for Arsenal. Scraping into the top four after a poor season is one thing, but raising hopes and going five points clear before blowing it later on is harsh on the fans. I'd like to see them win it this year but I feel it's just prolonged disappoint ahead.

  • ^ Ha! Is Jay Spearing still there? Another fine example.

  • In all seriousness I'd love to see Arsenal win the league this year, mainly because anyone but United, but also because Wenger might chill out.

Two weeks before season starts: Arsenal 6th
Two weeks after season starts: Arsenal 10th
Three weeks after season starts: Arsenal top 5
Six weeks after season starts: Arsenal top 4
Ten weeks after season starts: Arsenal 4th.

At this rate we'll be winners by Christmas :-)

  • Hahahaha!

Newcastle director of football Joe Kinnear tried to sign midfielder Shane Ferguson after a scouting trip to Birmingham - only to be told the 22-year-old was already a Newcastle player and had been loaned to the Blues

    #nipples

  • Poor showing by Liverpool yesterday.

  • next 4 games vs
    fulham
    everton
    hull
    norwich

lets see where we stand at the end of nov
    32pts ?

  • Nearly safe

  • phase one: accomplished
on to phase 2 : finishing above everton

  • The Sun reporting Baines to Utd for £7m + Zaha

Bloody good business if you ask me

  • The Sun eh?

    Always telling the truth.

  • i thought liverpool fans didn't read the sun

    scab

  • Wouldn't say arse have a better defense or attack but they sizzle in the middle. Flanagan did ok but Cissokho is a bang average footballer. Neither were good enough today against a top team that always seemed a man up in the middle. Just having one of the regular wing backs with the ability to drive at the opposition with the ball could have made a difference. The middle is where we're losing it atm.

Flanno defensively was fine, but going forward didn't show up, much like the rest of the team. Gerrard had a shocker

  • spurs to win 1-0 with soldado penalty ?

    evens at the bookies

  • ^ Ha! Is Jay Spearing still there? Another fine example.

    He's at Bolton now

  • Great game at the Emirates yesterday. Really pleased with how we played and looking forward to going to Dortmund now. If we play like that we might be able to force a result.

Can't believe how quiet the Liverpool fans were yesterday. They had the largest allocation of anybody so far this season and we didn't hear them once from the North Bank. Outsung at the Emirates? Haaaaaar!

  • ^so you said a few hours ago

Derby fans, do you think your premier league record is safe from palace this season?
