• Just the standard quality for many DZR shoes, my replacement pair only lasted about 4 months before they start to fall apart... Good custome service from the guys in the US though.

  • RE: Lower SS Pro's

Not too much of a fan, but partially because I bought it one size too big as their site advises, but it's half a size too big. Soles are fairly stiff, but the cleats aren't recessed enough for my ATACs so I sound like a tap dancer and went through a pair of cleats in under two months.

If anyone wants them, you can have them for €40 shipped, size 42.

  • Get SPD then if you want your cleat to last.

  • I got to trail a pair a while ago but unfortunately couldn't squeeze my feet into the tiny size 9s

Any idea when these are going to hit the market? I am going to buy them!

  • Ohhhhhh it's just not specific enough!

  • Okay, quite soon.

  • Has anyone got the giro republic shoes?

  • It's already in Madison and in stock, only the grey/brown one thought.

  • James get your arse down to Walton to order it through us

  • I need some parts from bike24 and the shoes are €150 from them. I do want the grey ones.

  • Want!

  • Got the Giro Republic shoes today, big thumbs up from the other half as an improvement over my Sidis.

  • Really? Just like the quocs, they look like golf shoes. Do not want. I think the bling of Sidis actually works well with smart attire. Bet they're more comfortable though.

  • Got the Giro Republic shoes today.

Did they fit well? hope the staff weren't too hard on you.

  • fit perfectly, better sole than sidi dominator, but not as stiff as a dragon 3

very comfy uppers, and a little elastic thing to hold laces in place

  • Interesting to learn, currently my dominator is my most comfortable despite a size too big, might give them a try.

  • Filters are pretty good but big and heavy.

  • What about the giro chambers.

  • They are pretty weighty, they were fine for DH/MTB but the DZRs I got after them were noticeably lighter.

  • Similar padding, although without the giant squishy tongue and a whole bunch stiffer sole. Plus they are heavier.

  • Somewhere in between.

  • Don't trust snotter, he'd charge to fit a bottom bracket.

  • Only the price of one of those shoes.

  • I have the 661 Filters. I got them when they were reduced. They are like big chunky skate shoes, comfortable on and off the bike. They are ideal for popping into a couple of shops. Will buy again when these ones fall apart. I have taken off the velcro strap, you might want to keep that on if you brakeless.
