  • Wooden shed base would have been easier to get level if you'd built a wooden frame around the footprint and levelled off the sand so it's flush with the top. It keeps the sand in one place and you can use a long piece of wood/metal to 'screed' it level. You then lay the slabs flush with the frame edge.

    It helps if you've built the frame to the same dimensions as the slabs though ...

    Not much use to you now of course, but for anyone else putting in a shed, this is a good way to do it.
