Wanted: Cross/commuter frame

Having sold my brompton I find myself with about £650 and most of a bike in spare parts (6600 ultegra minus the shifters) I'd love something that could deal with the commute to Bristol twice a week on lithe leafy audience route, while catering to the occasional apwintery audax. Read:

Fatty, cross wheels (and tyres)
Disc brakes
English BB
62cm seat tube

I'd love to buy a croix de fer but they only stretch to a 60 or apt he new canyon inflite but I have /most/ of a bike in parts...

Looking for ideas, new, old used or custom coming in around £650 for f&f, wheels and brakes... Hmmm

Having a nightmare, surly straggler not coming in till late jan, canyon inflite only offered as a complete bike and waiting on a special order all city macho man disc.
