  • Hello everybody! Posting from Zagreb, Croatia. I`ve been riding single speed most of my life, switched to SS road bikes a few years ago, ready to make the jump to fixed gear, new rear wheel is beeing built :) Have a nice rest of the Sunday (for the fellow Europeans that is)

  • Hello, in London, Hackney/Dalston, ride/own a Kinesis convert 2 as single speed, a CAAD geared up for weekend ride and a octane one dirt/street bike.

  • Hi, I live in Clapton and was given an old Raleigh frame and a few bits to start a single speed build. Never built a bike before, looking forward to lots of swearing.

  • Welcome, both, very glad you both live in the best part of London. :)

  • Based in Ealing, started playing with bikes a few years ago and got hooked. The collection is growing so some trades coming up once the post count allows

  • Hi, new to the site. Move between London and the Peak District. Is there a 'group' in the Derbyshire area?

  • There are some people inbetween Nottingham and Sheffield and a few more who hail from the left of the M1 frequently travel back and forth to the beloved peaks.

  • ^^Oi, he might not even be one of us, he could be a spirite, owl, blades or one of them glory hunting bandwagon jumping plastics like you.

  • Hi, liking the general feel of the forum, and interested in building a fixie as a change from my road bike.

  • I'm joining up to chew the fat, and sell my fixie as I'm back to gears now.

  • Hello I live in wiltshire (I was born in London - honest) been riding since I was 12 and only just started riding fixed. Why I didn't before I've no idea I love it I might even tt on fixed next year - who knew :))

  • Hi, thought about time I joined the forum. Bought up in Forest Hill SE London but now live in the country. Used to ride for Gemini BC, mainly racing at Herne Hill, Crystal Palace and Eastway.
Still come down to London to race or ride with my friends when I can.

  • Hi, been lurking for a long time, always meaning to join ...

brought up in Wales, living in Stepney Green, been riding in London since, ooh, must be the Century of the Fruit Bat. That's my excuse for needing gears these days anyway.

Great forum and I've learned so much from you guys.

  • Hi I've also joined, reverse to a few above - brought up in the country (rode occassionally with Wheelers in North Dorset) and since moved to London, bringing with me a Clockwork Orange MTB, 198(2?) Peugeot PH10 and some horrible modern thing with carbon all over it which is easily the least pleasant to ride.

  • New here. Joined today to find out a little bit more about my man, my lover and my best friend in the whole wide world, who sadly passed away last night. I'm not overwhelmingly confident with internet stuff, so please bear with me if I end up posting under the wrong topic.

  • What an unfortunate way to have to meet us, still, welcome all the same.

  • I'm new from Italy, sorry for my little english

  • Hello, I've always perused these forums, although never taking the plunge to join. My first fixie conversion was stolen last weekend; I built this bike from scratch. All I can think about lately is how envious I am of all of those people I see cycling to work every day while I'm holding onto a yellow pole on the bus, so I thought that I'd do something to get back into the cycling community while I find my next bike. I cringe to think that my Pegasus is being taken apart piece by piece by Croydon-dwelling cave men with adjustable spanners. Anyway, I hope to make my experience and views useful here. I'll shut up now.

  • I'm new here and from France. My name is Victor, 24 years old, and riding fixie/ss since a long time.
Following your forum since a long I decided to join and be part of your community. I will introduce my converted bike in the appropiate topic.

  • Hello! I'm bingo, I'm italian and i am 18 years old. I currently live in Bruxelles, Belgium but i was born in Milan, Italy. it a while that i follow this forum, and i finally decided to subscribe.
