Ok, just bought this, not sure I've done the right thing!?!

2014 specialized allez race.
Size 54cm
All standard, as it left the shop. Cost 1300, open to very sensible offers.

Are you saying that no sooner had you bought the thing, you almost instantly regretted doing so?!

The nature of an impulse buy, is just that. Don't worry about why I want to sell it, that's my burden. Just put it down to me getting some unexpected cash and being very rash.

Surely, if you've literally just bought it, your best bet is to take it back to the shop you bought it from?

I don't mean for a refund but they know the history of the bike, obviously sell Spesh and so would be the most likely to give you a good price for it; perhaps more if you took a credit note.

As far as the "open market" is concerned, that bike lost a third of its value as soon as it left the shop.

Fair comment. May give it a go.

Nothing to lose and you'd also have an idea of what you might expect for it.

Ok. Took the bike out for a good run tonight after work. Finding the ride a bit harsh, might be better off on steel. If anybody is interested may just sell frame forks and cranks.
