£300 for building it and loving it. I say emotion is costly, but this thread is priceless.

If this sells for two grand, I'm going to buy one and sell it; with the proceeds I'll buy two and sell them and so on and so forth.
In short order, others will catch on to what is happening and demand will outstrip supply creating massive (or should that be "Mashive") inflation.
Meanwhile I will have stopped selling actual bikes, but have switched to futures traded through an offshore trust fund.
Using my sage-like intuition I will pull out of the market just before the bubble bursts, having amassed a fortune that Croesus could only dream of, allowing me to satisfy my insatiable appetite for lightly grilled Unicorn and my quest for the Magnet Of Eternal Youth.
Or will I..........

Im glad I read these comments I was about to pull the trigger!
Why used? Buy new and upgrade. You will still have over £300 left in your pocket and some parts to sell on eBay.

Crikey.
Good luck with the sale. (£2k?! I'm out.)

Damn you Heathens, What part of nearest offer do you not understand?
If you like it, then make me an offer. If not, don't just sit there bitching and moaning because you simply can't afford it.And yes, in all fairness 2k is a lot but i don't expect to get that . . . hence . . . nearest offers, just that on paper it has cost me well in excess of 2k to build up and for what?
to be ridden a handful of times, maybe no more than a hundred miles in total !
but seriously, can't stress enough, this bike is mint. So, if you DO actually like the bike. Do yourself a favour, ignore some of the idiots on here and do exactly as you please.
Cheers, Chris

Someone had your eyes out if this cost you more than 2k to build.
EDIT: Meat on bones: a previous post already explained you could buy this setup brand new for something in the region of £1700. It's been used. £1000 would be a reasonable 'ono'

I have a complete Mash Histogram Compact... better specs, but with some signs of wear and tear. All yours for £1000 O.N.O.

I'd agree dick, If I'd built it this today. but was a while ago now.
Since then, just sat in my room, as I'd inevitably end up going out on other bikes

The unfortunate basis of that story, is the fact you're selling it NOW. You can't sell anything, even brand new, for more than the current market price.
-
• #46
...don't just sit there bitching and moaning...
You're new here right?Just because you add "ONO" to a ridiculous price, doesn't make it okay.
I don't see anyone here "bitching and moaning" because they can't afford it; you've had the piss taken, because you're taking the piss.
Seriously, stick it on Ebay.

"The unfortunate basis of that story, is the fact you're selling it NOW. You can't sell anything, even brand new, for more than the current market price."
What's he that says so? My Dick? No, my fair Dick. If this bike is marked not to sell at full price, we are enow to do our country loss; and if to make a mockery of only a handful of potential buyers, the fewer morons, the greater their share of shame. God's will! I pray thee, wish not one buyer more.

£500. Let's face it: you won't need it for some time.

Some guy in Norway bought a Mash five years ago. He had not used it and forgot about it. It was gathering dust in his shed. Apparently, he's just put a deposit for a new flat in Oslo, only because he's sold it on LFGSS.
