It's meant to have period bikes and parts (i.e no brifters),
It says:
'Any registered cyclist who arrives at the start line or is found on the course with a bicycle that
does not conform to the rules and regulations of the event will be disqualified immediately'
as well as
'wheels must have at least 32 spokes with a low profile'
if I were you I'd just borrow a front wheel seeing as it probably isn't worth the risk
