I'm not sure whether this should go in off-topic as it's not strictly cycling, but Living Streets does lots of work with similar goals to cycling orgs, and some work in partnership with them, so it's sort of relevant if a bit tenuous. Anyway, it's looking for trustees. Blurb below from the CEO Tony Armstrong.
Living Streets, the national charity working to create safe, attractive and enjoyable streets around the UK, is currently looking for two new Trustees to join our Board.
Living Streets has grown steadily over recent years, with additional project and core funding. We now have offices in London, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh with other staff based in partner local authority offices. The organisation has developed an excellent reputation within government, amongst related professions and the sector for our policy and campaigning work, our innovative consultancy services and our national campaigns and projects aimed at encouraging and enabling walking.
In order to support our strategic objectives, we are looking to enhance the existing skills on the Board by recruiting two additional Trustees. We are particularly keen to recruit people with experience of public health within a local authority setting, people who have experience of the private/commercial sector and people with charity finance experience. Obviously, we are also looking for a commitment to the values and strategic objectives of Living Streets.
We value diversity and the Board of Trustees is keen to achieve diversity in its membership. Therefore we would particularly welcome applications from disabled people and people from a minority ethnic background.
We are undertaking an open recruitment process for new Trustees and hope to have a wide range of interest.

Formatting Help
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
> Quote text by starting lines with >
Mention another user by @username
For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
