Photobucket being an arse

Anyone know why photobucket is changing my IMG codes to post up photos, to links to the photo on the photobucket website? Its really pissing me off having to change them back to the IMG codes all the time!

They change from IMG to URL without me doing anything???

Photobucket have been a shit image host since they got bought.

I just reread your post Ronnie, you know what you're doing. I had assumed PB made this change to drive more traffic to their site. Not sure there is a way to automatically remove the embedded link.

Yeah thats what I've been doing and then somehow manages to change itself back to the URL. Really annoying. I think I'll give imgur a try. wonder if there is a way of exporting all my images??

I just paste the link and delete everything outside the stuff. A pain but it works.

Yeah thats what I've been doing. I've just tried Imgur, and its doing the same thing! The [IMG]'s are turning into [URL]'s without me doing anything. I go back into my ad and they are all URL links, not how I left them!

I've changed them back to [IMG] from [URL] twice now, feels like someone is playing a prank lol

The photo files are too large for the forum software magnets. If you resize to 600x400 or close to that, the image will display as an image.

surely the magnets want changing by now?
