Oxford Bicycle Tag of Bike

Can see the pic fine but can't think of the location.

Same here, I've tried looking at satellite images but can't work it out.

The knowledge of Oxford's waterways is weak in this one! Hmmmm

I'm assuming you guys have spotted the clue (possibly rather opaque) in the caption?

If that doesn't help I'll think of something a bit more revealing.

Ha so someone does know where it is :-) if it wasn't taken by the beginning of next week I was going to move it.

To basically tell people where it is, look up "Weirs Lane" on google maps.

I just followed the river, looking for a weir. Spotted the road and zoomed in. The rest was easy. Unfortunately, I don't live in Oxford so it'd be a 140 mile round trip.

Just ride around Oxford and see if you can wing it.

New one isn't far from the Isis either

Handed in my PhD thesis a couple of weeks ago, so now I can get back to the serious business of bike tag!

Old tag was by a river (crane next to the Isis near Folly Bridge):

New is between rivers:
