Well I currently run A530s fixed, which also don't have a tab for flicking them over, but I don't find this to be a problem. It seems to usually present the right side and if it doesn't, I just lift up my foot slightly for half a rotation, by which time the pedal will have turned round, and then press down.
Why would T780s be pointless?
