I've got M540s on my road bike and M520s on my SS Pomp, and can ride either in SPDs or Converse, though wet weather grip with the latter is severely compromised. Been meaning to buy some DZRs or similar but summer's been dry so couldn't be arsed. Might look for something soon though.
Surely running those PD-T780s on FG would be pointless?
They also appear to lack a tab for flipping them over with your foot.
