So I'm thinking of treating myself some time this year to a new fixed gear. I had settled on a Surly Roller as I wanted winter tyres. That issue is sorted by a croix de fer.
So if I get down to 14 stones (i's not little) I fancy a piece of history before he packs up shop for new orders and the frames are stunning. Are they worth the £1900 or is there a British equivalent? Would it last me 10 years of summer riding?
