Ever considered carbon forks? I reckon they'd look great!
1" steerer on that chrome plated Fuji.

Really like that Principia! Needs matching tires!
I'm thinking of doing fenders again. Last time i had these SKS things:
http://www.sks-germany.com/?l=nl&a=product&r=spatborden&i=6208801430&BLUEMELS
Don't have eyelets for them though so it got a bit messy with tie-wraps and such.. what's the best option while keeping a classic look on the bike? -

Finished this the other week, took it out properly for the first time today. Loadsa fun. Needs better brakes.
Really? I always found V-brakes to be be fine. What brake pads are you using?

Scoble got it right with his Bianchi; logos removed and a quill set up with some nice flat crown forks. Though your wheels would probably be better suited to some Alpinas or something similar.
This is my favourite set-up;

I've got XT cartridge pads on the front, but the arms are cheap and crap and difficult to adjust properly. They still stop quite happily, just not very nicely. Will pick up some Avid SD7s at some point.
Love that, nice classic ride

Try to keep an eye for Single Digit Ultimates on the bay. Pricey but one of the best you can get.

Was thinking about a re-spray at first glance but on closer inspection I'm kinda swaying towards keeping the origianl paint! Need some forks next...

Lose that 14 sticker for a start....
-
• #84465
there's nowt wrong with Shop 14. It's not BLB.
-
• #84466

Any fork suggestions?

• #84468
columbus minimal.
-
• #84469
would prefer straight forks if possible, more like the columbus straight tusks, although they don't come in 1"
-
• #84470
Hence Minimal, or go for the All City Big Block fork, or the Soma's;
-
• #84471
that HT looks tiny? Could probably get some nice ones off NJS export or 'bay
-
• #84472
Yeah it's pretty tiny. The pub bike will be made to fit, it certainly won't be a long distance lo pro that's for sure! Good shout's there ed!
-
• #84473
Those soma/BLB/all-city/tange/TFG/action are a proper lead weight, just a word of warning
-
• #84474
Bonor's talking sense, some second hand NJS forks, or even any old super tight steel fork. Should be easy to find for that tiny headtube.
Update on Donohue, cut bars down a couple of cm to 57ish, applied new tape, re-installed layback post with Flite for #riserlief...Just waiting on a 17* Thomson and all done.

I need some 753 1" threaded forks if anyone spots a pair.
Lol no.
