By the way, I witnessed a BMW series 7 catching the edge of the motorway and in effect being propelled maybe 15 feet in the air, making three saltos and vaulting into the ditch. An awful, sobering experience.
For the next 1500 miles I hadn't gone faster than 80 mph.
