Awesome project you got there.. Wanna race who finishes his black Concorde tt first?
-
• #4
Haha no man, this will be a build that takes some time (and when I find spare time I still need to have cash...)

Shit! Less than £200 for that haul? I wish I still lived in Belgium (if only for the beer).
I've been after a lo pro for a while, so keen to see how this builds-up.

Christ! That´s the biggest bargain you´ll ever get. Interesting project.

I was there to witness the whole scene. Glad I could convince you to keep it! This will turn out good. Subscribed!

^ Haha, didn't need that much convincing though ;) Glad I sold some other stuff so this didn't hurt my wallet.
Small correction: it's not an engraved Cinelli stem but a 3TTT. To make this mistake up here's a picture of it.

there is a guy here who wanted to sell the challenger 26" front wheel a few month ago!
-
• #14
Not really looking for a Challenger front, I'm happy with the wheel I have at the moment.
Looks like I'll have to sell the NOS (well, they already have some very small scratches in it by fitting a stem which doesn't fit apparently) LA84.
Stupid 3TTT stem has a very weird bolt to open so I (and my local bike shop) can't make it a mm or 2 bigger to fit the Cinelli bar...
Should I keep the stem or the handlebar for this project?

Fitted a Campa Aero seatpost and a Turbomatic 2 while waiting for some other parts to arrive
Matches really well with the Challenger wheel

Good choice!
So.. we are both actually building up a black Concorde tt with yellow details?
We should start a crew.. -

I see friendship growing here!

Did nothing happen with this
Third time lucky: after 2 other Lo Pro frames which weren't ideal for me I've found this beauty today at Stalen Ros in Ghent (Belgium).
Frame was marked at €220 (£188) and at first I thought this was rather expensive for just frame and fork. Still something triggered me, it's a made in Italie professional frame, the name of a rider is painted on it etc... After realising that the Mavic Challenger disc wheel, the radially laced 650c front wheel with Campa hub and a very nice engraved Cinelli stem (with the Italian flag and both Cinelli and Concorde logos) were included I just had to buy this. Seller was so kind to add a NOS Cinelli LA 84 bullhorn, still in original packaging!
So, here's the first picture (without LA 84):
I've decided to keep this one for myself but it will be a long time project. Didn't thought about a groupset yet but it probably will be Campa.
