HI,
got a Ladies frame sitting at home that needs shifting. It's not in the best condition but a bit of love would sort it. Has cottered cranks, stem and bars still attached, 26" wheels would fit. Need the space so pick it up and it's yours. Let me know if you are interested.

i converted a bright orange one and posted it up. i also did a peugeot carbolite one for cajeta, she now has a raleigh and a freddie grubb, the pug is in the cupboard.
i reckon you could nab the peugeot for not much money at all, if anything, considering the complete bike cost me £14 on ebay and cost cajeta nothing at all. the good thing is it has 120mm rear spacing, takes 700 wheels, and already has flopped and chopped bars. and the paintwork is good.
i think there are pictures on my flickr somewhere.

I'm selling a 49cm Geoffrey Butler singlespeed conversion. Would suit 5'2- 5'6. Pink fading to white, then to blue! Great 90's steel frame. Flat bars. New bontrager tyres. I have road drop bars and levers if preferred.
Reynolds triathlon tubing. It's my girlfriends but she's decided she wants a touring bike!?
It's in great condition. Rides a treat. Couple of small chips in paint. Not with a sloping women's top-tube. It's a great bike and can be converted to fixed very easily. I'm asking for a very reasonable £ if anyones interested. -

sounds like a good deal.
geared the paganini yet? the puppydex is in the red following my px-10 conversion.

The Paganini is looking awesome! I just need bars and stem. I've cleaned it all up, polished the early 90's Campag groupo and have some blk/wht tyres and zebra cork bar tape. Going for that 90's road racing look! I'll post pics when it's finished. I feel it was the right thing to do as I've ended up with 2 track bikes on top of the road convertion.
What have you been converting? -

I have an Electra Townie Ladies frame and fork. basically its a townie 8 with most of the good bits pulled off it. just the frame (aluminium), fork (RST bouncy), stem(cheap adjustable) and bars. semi horizontal drops as it originally had a geared hub.

I'm in Guildford and its pissing me off hung in the garage so if its any use and you can collect it, its yours.

yeah, and it's made of an exotic space-age material!
i've plucked off most of it's bits for use on the raleigh, but if you are interested, yes, you may have the frame. -

long shot but any of these still available? if not, does anyone else have a ladies ducth bike for sale?
same old story... for the missus, i bought her a beautiful 531 framed coventry eagle but she 'doesn't like it' as it's 'uncomfortable'. bah. in fact if anyone fancies doing some sort of p/x on that i would definitely be interested.
thanks for any replies.. -

I have a ladies raliegh campus, purple steel beauty, with bent forks :-(
It's too small for me and needs help, so I'd love to pass it on. It has lots of good bits.

Dredging this thread up. The Dutch bike I posted up there ^^ quite a few years ago is for sale again.
Since that post it has probably been ridden once and has been in our spare room ever since. The spare room is going to be needed for a baby(!) in a few months so the bike that never gets ridden really needs to find a new home. The only tiny bit of damage is to the rear light, which took a knock some something when in the house so it's slightly cracked. Still works though, so it's all good.
It's moved with us to Forest Hill (even more hills), so it's south east for a viewing. We don't have the basket anymore, but will throw in a set of very nice panniers made for it.
£175 for a great bike in virtually new condition. It's a cracking deal. Can try to find a few more pics - just PM me.

I'm after a frame and forks (or complete bike) of the ladies variety to build up for the Mrs. I am desperately trying to get her more interested in bikes and figured that a little build project would be good to do together and would also help educate me (I'm still very new to builds).
Anyway, does anyone have a ladies road bike or frame that would be good for a conversion to SS? I remember seeing one on the forum ages ago (it was bright orange) that looked pretty nice. Ideally, I'm after something pretty cheap as money is short.
Also, while I'm here we're probably going to be selling her Dutch bike as soon as I get a replacement lined up for her, £215 (without the basket - she wants to keep that), any takers? It's a unisex 3 speed (hub geared) Dutch bike with a back kick brake (+ normal front brake), mud guards and chain cover for grime free riding, dynamo lights. It's only been ridden for about 20 miles! Only selling as it is a bit on the heavy side for her and she struggles on hills with it, which isn't too good now we live in Cricklewood. And she can't easily carry it up the stairs to our flat, which is a problem when I'm not in.
Cheers,
Toby
