6pm Just ridden past male rider of blue and white steel Colnago road bike in the road by the pelican crossing heading towards Lee being tended to by police and PCSO s whilst others directed traffic around him.

He had been placed in recovery position and was moving and his bike was leaning against a lamppost with a very bent front wheel.

No sign of another vehicle stopped or pedestrian involvement and paramedics were just arriving.

Rider was covered in foil blanket and obscured by hi viz jackets and now I'm hoping it wasn't our resident vintage Colnago fan colnago costa :(
