So I've got some Shimano A530 pedals, and on the left one, the retention has started to go weird. Even when it's set really loose, it sticks quite a bit, allowing no twist movement without quite a lot of force. Sometimes if I clip out and back in again, this helps, but like 50% of the time it sticks. Cleaning and lubing the springs etc seems to help for a bit, but only like one or two rides and the problem comes back. I don't think it's worn cleats, as they are only a bit worn, and I don't get the same problem with my other pedals (M520). Should I just replace the pedals, or is there anything else I can do? Bit disappointed as they're only a year old and Shimano stuff is usually ultra durable.
