  • The route has been officially declared today . It still looks a bit vague to me , running in an arc roughly through Saffron Walden . Anyone got a better route details ?

  • You can do some zooming in on the PDF = there's also a version here that shows the Cambridge part up to Shelford Road...

  • That map is a little weird - it only be french
Why are random places highlighted in bold.

    .Croydon
    .Dartford
    .Gravesend
    .Kingston

  • That's probably places ear marked by the Vichy government as nazi sympathisers

  • Yay!

Past the end of my road and straight past the in-law's front door on Shelford Road.

And plenty of time to think up some awesome road graffiti.

  • I am so excited for this. On roads I do daily, this is just surreal.

  • This is a decent route map:

Someone should probably organise some sort of l'Etape du Tour on this route.

  • Great map thanks , I couldn't find anything with decent details

Finchingfield is a great cycling stop. It also goes past my stall on Sidney street .

    Decisions decisions ....

  • Such epic news, I am more than a bit excited. (although dont read the comments on the Cambridge news, so many miserable sods)

Definitely going to be group rides down the route, Im sure I will ride it a few times!

  • I got a PDF of the route in Cambridge for the ride out . Unable to work out how to post it here :-(

It basically starts on Gonville place and goes up , regents street/ St. Andrews / Sidney street then down trinity street/ kings parade/ trumpington street .

  • it must go past sawston then, excuse for a dayoff work, a few
    beers and back home
