A female adult friend of mine has recently done that course and loved it. Got on really well and is cycling without any problems. No stabilisers required for adults (or kids either IMO). Just a good, patient trainer and plenty of open space with no traffic. Tennis is courts (minus nets) are where I taught my kids, and where my adult friend was taught.
