• Got some track pedals in the post from ebay, they looked pretty battered but thought they could look pretty decent after a good polish.
Bunked off uni for a bit and went to see an old friend with the right tools. Spent about a half hour on these using a polishing wheel, they're still not finished but will look decent after some dremel polishing on the inner sides. Heres some before and after photos.

    Not bad eh.

Also started on the bars. Went for the straight holes with 3 on either side at the bottom. After the first few holes of 9mm all was going well, I was getting into the flow of it but realised I wouldn't be able to do the ones round the top curve with the drill press. Got as far up as I could so started then started on the right side. Then went for the 10.5mm and widened the bottom ones a bit. Did take some photos in process but they are all on my shitty phone.

Two holes in and I started to find it was extremely hard to try and clamp the bar in a good place for the right side and lower the press and this happens. All was going alright then f*****d it right up, As much as I want to carry on its really not worth it, the holes are just too close together and really don't want to compromise my safety for what really is only a 'cool' idea that might look alright.

I basically didn't clamp the bar in straight therefore that happened. Oh well.. need to get hold of a new pair now. If anyone has some going cheap, the more beaten up the better then let me know, don't want to spend more than £20max really.

Also need to really look into the design again and the maths of how far apart the holes should be and work out an equal distance and width, so its roughly equal all around the bar.
