I've totally missed the point of the game I think. I don't have any apartments other than the safe houses, I bought one business (the gun running airfield) only because I like flying in GTA games, I haven't bought or modified a single car, I only just saved a new car in a garage yesterday for the first time, and I haven't done any activities except visit a strip club and sleep with a stripper.

I haven't even gone for a random rampage... I'm just really boring I think.

the apartment bit is in online. you start homeless.

The exploring & doing random stuff doesn't make sense for single player but it really does add to the game online; even playing with randoms/just being on your own in free play there's always something interesting to do or someone else in the lobby being stupid.

Still waiting for my free money to come through so I can buy a nice apartment & start modding some nice cars (stuck to two at the moment & neither is really worth modding).

To anyone buying an apartment .... the $400k one is no different in layout / content to the one I bought at $217k. Only the location is different. There have been some comments online about helipads but they're false.

Save that $200k for buying weapons and mods for shitty cars :)
