I did also consider looking for a SS cyclocross frame- which would instantly solve all my a-c fork height worries...
@Dammit- Yes, that does sound like the path of least resistance . I'd have to choose carefully to ensure the braking forces didn't cause issues-Another question for Ted or Oak really to see if it would work
