Arsenal did well last night, only missing out on a point by the odd goal in three. The pundits were telling us how good they were and there was that wonderful interview with the Dortmund manager where he was told that his side deserved to lose.Arsenal's bubble has not burst; simply failed to inflate.
According to the commentators last night (and why wasn't Smith at Arsenal where he clearly wanted to be?) we deserved to lose which was nice. Smith would have awarded a penalty to Schalke because one of their players received a ball in the face. He would also have sent of Ramieres.
One has to appreciate that pundits and commentators play a useful role in ensuring that people actually go to games.
