I'm a noob, Had my first fixie for 4 months now, Found it to be a stark contrast from the mountain bikes I rode growing up.
I want to learn to skid (I know, eye roll) I've been lurking round youtube and this forum since I first got the bike, some of the things here were part of the inspiration for me going fixed.
There's nothing I haven't seen or read about the matter and I'm still not quite there. I'm sure with practice it will come and I'll be able to join the mocking side of things ;).
I find directing the back wheel sideways into the skid helps things lock up nicely. (Without having to hump the stem)
