We'll leave as soon after 9 as possible - we don't need to wait for KT Bee as she's playing in boats rather than coming for a bike ride. Gears - that's fine by me.
Toughness - on a scale of 0 to 10 on the toughometer, I'd say this was about 1.4. Very gently rolling countryside, not a huge distance (60 miles). How long will it take? Well the last two tuime we did this ride, I think it took about 7 to 8 hours but nearly half of that was in the pub at lunchtime, so if we skip that we might make it there in about 5 hours - averaging 12mph? Should be doable.
