This is a 2007 bike that I have owned since about 6 months old. It was my first road bike and has been very well maintained and upgraded, only for sale as I have now built up a carbon framed bike. The spec of the bike is as follows.
Frame 7005 triple butted alloy
Fork Advanced Composites T400 3k Carbon Fork
Wheels Xero (front is XR180, rear is CXR330) with Hutchinson Fusion 2 tyres (700x23)
Shifters Ultegra 6500 STI
Rear Der. Ultegra 6500
Front Der. Shimano 105 5500
Chainset Ultegra 6500 Standard Double (39/53), 172.5mm
Bottom Bracket Ultegra 6500
Cassette Ultegra 6500 12-23
Chain SRAM PC-971 (virtually brand new)
Brakes Ultegra 6500 calipers with Dura Ace shoes & BBB Tech Stop pads
Bars Don't know the brand but light weight 44cm c-c
Stem PlanetX 3DF 120mm
Pedals shown not included (fitted for a friend to try it)
In the last 2 months the bike has had a new bottom bracket, chain, cables, and brake pads. It is in very good mechanical condition, the wheels are perfectly true and spoke tension even.
Structurally the bike is perfect with no dents, cosmetically there are some chips/scratches particularly at the top/bottom of the headtube,and the shifters are losing their lacquer (not as bad as it appears in the photo).
Reluctant sale but it just isn’t getting used any more. I'm looking for £320. Viewing or test rides in Maidstone (evenings and weekends) and I work in London so can in central/West End for delivery during the week. I would prefer not too but I can box it up and courier if necessary for £30. Payment by cash, bank transfer or paypal gift.
