  • Greetings to the Group !

The Mavic Ksyrium Elite of my Fondriest (http://www.lfgss.com/thread113439.html#post3884361) are suffering from the usual "death squeal" freehub issue.

As there are otherwise true/ stiff/ and run smooth I have purchased the replacement bushing in order to fix the freehub.

Before dissasempling for the repair I was also considering of purchasing a Campy freehub.

My current setup is Campy 9 speed: Mechs/ Cranckset/ Ergos with shimano 9 speed rear cassette (hence freehub) chain and jockey wheels.

I know that in principle 9 speed shimano and Campy are supposed to work together but as my shifting and drive train noise is not as "clean" as I would like I was wondering if the mix of components could be the reason.

To sort out the noise I am also looking at replacing my rear mech which is cracked as well as my small Miche chainring which I have noticed is noisier than the large Campagnolo.

The bike also has an anusual (I think) chainring combination:
    Small chairning 39T
    Cassette 12T - 21T

Chainging freehub would cost me cassette and freehub!

    Any ideas??

Anyone knows where I could source a Mavic Campagnolo body freehub (9 speed cassette compatible)??

    Cheers

    George
