My memories of living in Switz are of freezing temperatures (esp. in the valleys if they are in the shade), snow, and limited daylight. Towards Lake Geneva/Lucerne it will be very overcast under the cloud base, which is quite low so you could get above it, but when you do... very sunny and bright, but also higher so more snow.

Basically, for that time of year you'd be better packing some skiis.
