Thrust builds a beater

Keeping this thread as my sketchpad and have bought list.

Will build up a beater consisting of:

Eddy made frame for Balk in Columbus Cromor in large size + orig eddy fork.

• Mavic 305 headset

• Mavic Starfish 632 cranks with Stronglight 50t 52t

• Shimano 520 pedals or Ofmega Mistral with Lapize clips and straps.

• Mavic Fixe adjustable bb

• Mavic 350 bars (MINT), 42cm c-c to mavic 360 stem or chopped risers to same stem LOOK ergo yellow.

• Mavic Cosmic Pro wheels, rebuilt rear.

• Some shit seatpost in 27.2 with a ideale 2001 or 2002 saddle (NOS)

• PC1 chain

• Gatorskins on the Cosmics, some tubular shit on the tubs.

• Will smoke Gauloise ciggs when riding.

• Wald basket for my wine.

Got everything exept Cosmics, chain, lockring, cog, gators, tubulars and the larger frame.

That's a remarkably empty piece of man-space that your project resides in.

Have you just moved in/just been burgled?

It's a 86 sqft room and I just moved in. There's two more bikes and bike parts behind me in this shot. In progress. :)

How hard is it to do your own engraving on a flat forkcrown?

if you have a pantograph and steady hands.. not very. :)

Still attached to a fork though. :)
