For Sale: Large Pompino frame and (nature boy) fork, Goldtec/Mavic wheelset

First up, my large white Pompino.

Effective TT: 55.5cm
Seat Tube Centre to Top: 54cm

I'm about 6'1" and I'd say I'm about as tall as you'd want to be on this size.

Seen regular use for the past six months so has marks and scratches consistent with this. Black All-City Nature Boy forks included, with about about 30mm of spacers.

I've done a few little frame modifications:

• Filed through the brake cable stops so you can run full length cables which should give a longer cable life. I've added an adhesive cable guide to prevent the outer pinging against the top tube. You should still be able to run interrupted cables as the ferrules are wider than a brake cable.
  
• Removed the cantilever hanger on the back, I used Mini V's so this was unnecessary. If you want to use cantilevers you can still use a standard integrated seat clamp hanger thing. I've put nail varnish over the area in which it was removed to try and prevent rust.
  
  
  

Also included is a M-Part Elite headset, Surly seat clamp, Shimano Alfine crankset (including bottom bracket) with a 39t chainring. All with a few months use but with plenty of life left.

Also for sale is my single speed wheelset. Black Goldtec hubs (though more of a dark blue) laced with 36 spokes 3x to silver Mavic A119 rims.

I've been using the Goldtec hubs for nearly a year, probably seen around 10,000km use in that time. Still on their original bearings and still as smooth as ever.

Rims were replaced 3 months ago, so aren't too worn. I've reused the spokes and they're a bit too long for these rims so they stick out a few millimetres above the nipples - this hasn't posed any problems for me, just use some decent rim tape. Rims are pretty true, but could probably do with some tweaking if you're a perfectionist. Allen key nuts are a bit bashed on the rear but still functional (and available from Goldtec), I'll include a quick release for the front.

Comes with 2 Shimano freewheels, 18t and 16t. Both are quite used but with a bit of life in them yet.

This isn't a light wheelset but is pretty indestructible. It's seen me through many 'cross races and off-road excursions. I'll probably miss them when it starts snowing.
