The North Face. Is there another way? -

We could head out through Ewelme and Swyncombe. Doable on SS if we take our time - but I'd rather not have to ride up to CC out of Watlington without gears!
-
• #11
The Ewelme-Swyncombe route was the route I was considering. I've managed it before anyway! There's a pub at Christmas Common so if we're early we can always hang around in there and the Londoners can drag us out!
-
• #12
Sounds like a good plan - I was in that pub earlier this week for the first time too.
Once Bernie has detials of when they plan to be passing through we can arrange our depart from Wallingford.
-
• #13
I'm planning on joining thee (as long as the timings work for me as I'm going out in the evening). I will join the outgoing Oxfordinghamshiretonshire party from Wallingford as I did for the Town and Gown ride in May. Hopefully I'll be on my new SS conversion :)

Forecast not looking great for Saturday at the moment but still a way off...
"Thursday mostly dry, predominantly cloudy, with a risk of fog patches which may not clear. Friday dull and cloudy, with early light rain and drizzle. Wet for much of Saturday."
-
• #15
Saturday, pitche forks and Ale! Le rain will be too scared to fall.
-
• #16
I don't mind the rain (if it's brave enough to fall) but it might change my choice of steed for the ride...
