• I really need to make as decision about the front end of my Mash and I'm having real trouble deciding what the best course of action is. I'm going to keep the current fork and use it for slammed stem and riser winter riding, but I need something that fits for going faster come the Spring.

    A) Buy a replacement Histogram fork. Obviously looks the same, but they're not the best and it's a 4 week wait from Cinelli

    B) Buy a 30mm rake Alpina track fork. Probably similarly rubbish to the stock Columbus fork, but it's cheaper by a bit and also available now.

    C) Buy an Enve 2.0 40mm rake road fork. If I could get a 30mm track fork I would, but this is a close as it gets. Obviously they're light and super salve, but I've had conflicting opinions on how much it would punt the geometry out. I'm used to my Mash, and I like the way it handles.

    D) Alpina Wing Pista forks are full carbon and apparently 30mm rake, but still porky and I'm not sure if they'd look any good?

I'd probably paint or snow-camo wrap either of the Alpina forks if I went for them. I'm just not sure what to do!

The other issues I'm decided with my Mash to get it dailed in perf - Enve layback or Masterpiece layback? What stem angle to keep my current fit? I'd need 60mm of spacers for a -17, but only 35 for a 0 degree. As my flexibility improves the stem will drop, which makes me a think I could keep the -17 indefinitely and lower it slowly?

Also, build up a summer rear wheel and keep the Chub to A23's for Winter commuting? Firecrest 404 to American Classic?

    SO MANY QUESTIONS!
