  • Dibs gore jacket please

  • Interested in the wheels: how many gears?

  • Second dibs on jacket!

  • hi, the wheels work for 8-10 speed, i have used them with both, i dont know if hope does an 11 speed freehub.

  • ^you sure on that? iirc campag changed the spline design after 8sp..
so a hub is either 8sp or 9,10,(11)sp compatible..

but maybe hope did something inbetween which fits both?!

  • yes i am sure, i have used a 8 speed record cassette and a 10 speed centaur cassette with these wheels. re: hope design, not sure will check the spline layup to a campag one later when its stripped

  • Do you reckon the forks have enough clearance for a 32c tyre or at least 28?

  • definitely a 28 im doubtful it would fit 32s

  • ^^^mmmkay.

maybe this will be of service, just saw it linked to at another thread..

ill put a picture of the freehub and the wheels up tomorrow. my pal at condor said the same thing to me about it but i can guarantee i have used both 8 speed and 10 with these wheels

  • as you can see from the above photo i am using 8 speed chorus and if you check my other thread you will see the same wheels with a 10 speed set up

  • .

  • sorry should have cleaned it before taking the picture

seems like an origional 9 speed campag freehub

  • really not that difficult to put any of the existing cassettes onto that freehub type :) sorry, these pictures are taken from this site, back a year ago, I cannot recall who posted them originally, so I'd like to apologise.. but..

eight speed cassettes just fit fine:

as well as onto modern freehub bodies.

though it's good idea to keep everything where it belongs to :)

  • btw, the bike on the pic. do you use an ahead -quill converter, or have a threadless fork-headset?

  • converter and a shim

  • more items!!!

    1. ritchey classic drop handle bars. silver, 42cm, 31.8 clamp and in terms of measurements very close to the popular 3T ergonova shape. a decent bar i always found it nice and comfortble. a few scratches on the clamp area. (will upload a better picture saturday) £20 ONO
  • i am happy to post all itmes, and there is more stuff to come over the next few weeks.

  • .

  • shimano non series "tiagra" hollowtec II chainset £35

compact sizes (50-34) in 172.5. has had about 2-3 weeks use while i got the correct bearings for my other cranks. practically new

Bontrager road wheels. £75 fitted in the factory but not used
off a trek 2.1 madone. about shimano r500 level/ shimano freehub i have tyres and tube for an extra 15. skewers included

the stickers will peel off very easily if you just want a pair of black commuter wheels

shimano non series "tiagra" brake calipers £35 actually work really well, and have enough clearance to accept proper mudguards. again only about 2-3 weeks use

    bontrager road bars £10
compact road drop a bit deeper than an ergonova but not a great deal.

shimamo 105 shifters £120 and ill sort you out with a set of cables
fitted in the factory but not used 2 x 10 in black
i could find 130 cheapest online but will match what you find minus £10 for these.

bontrager saddle, £10 big and padded good for a commuter/rat/hack
