i've parked a beater on hanover square for 2 plus years without issues
crappy bike proper strong motorbike lock
i have seen other bikes stolen from the same rack though .. usually bikes with cheap cable locks
opportunists will always be around though, bars seats saddles are all relatively easy to remove
